Spinal problems contribute significantly to the global burden of disease and have a considerable financial impact on our economy. In the United States alone, the total annual cost of treating spinal disorders is estimated at $253 billion.2 This includes direct costs, such as medical expenses, as well as indirect costs like lost productivity and disability. These financial burdens can lead to bankruptcy for individuals and families struggling to afford necessary treatments

Dr. Sara Perry
Hi, I'm Dr. Sara Perry. Please allow me to briefly introduce myself. These are a few pictures of my journey to becoming a mother. I had my daughter 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia, after I thought I did everything "right" to avoid that happening.
We spent two weeks in the NICU, where I quickly gained so much respect for other mothers. It can be so hard to try to do the "right" thing along the way, all while healing and feeling lost at times.
I made it through my first sleep-deprived year, where I spent many late-night hours in the nursery dreaming of how I could help more.
I started Inspired Family Foundation with the goal of helping families, namely mothers and babies, receive affordable care, including Chiropractic, Massage and Functional Medicine.
I no longer believe in "right" or "wrong" when it comes to motherhood. I believe in empowering women and families, and that starts with having powerful conversations and great holistic care. I hope to bring our community and our many wonderful nonprofits and skilled providers together to create a village of support through the transition from maiden to motherhood.
In my ten years as a practicing chiropractor and seven years as an entrepreneur, I have enjoyed treating thousands of pregnant women, children and families. I have advanced chiropractic training in prenatal care, including Webster and Logan Basic techniques. I have advanced training in pediatric chiropractic care including Craniosacral Technique and Lip Tie/Tongue Tie evaluation and bodywork treatment. I have also completed advanced functional medicine training for pediatrics.
Through Inspired Family Foundation, You can look forward to community events, educational webinars and workshops, treatment on a sliding scale fee schedule and online courses.

When I commit to an organization, it is my hope and intent to be a part of it for life. There is no better way to hold true to this commitment than by giving not only in life but also in death.
I am grateful that my estate will not only benefit charity: water but the thousands of people the organization supports whether it be their own staff, local partners in the field, or people in need of clean water. The greatest impact I can hope for is that charity: water realizes its goal of bringing access to clean water for all.

The point of a will is to protect your loved ones and the legacy you want to leave behind. As a Spring member already giving regularly, the thought of that stopping if I was no longer here didn’t seem right. This is an organization and a cause that I absolutely believe in, and despite being only 28, I feel strongly that won’t change 10, 25, or 50 years from now. It doesn’t matter how old you are, or how much you have — if something is important to you, I believe you have to make that known.
Bequest Policy
It is the general policy of charity: water that all gifts shall be presumed to be for all charitable purposes (i.e. unrestricted) unless there is an explicit restriction. This allows the organization to apply the funds to the most pressing needs at the time of funding. The charity: water gift acceptance policy can be found here.
